Our Final Push

Dear Readers,

It's that time of year again. We're down to the last weekend before Christmas, and the seculofascists are out to take the "Christ" out of "Christmas" forever. Luckily, though, Teddy's Troopers are much stronger. I offer tonight the final list of businesses, movies, and printed publications to boycott this weekend, to really hit these anti-Christian and anti-American businesses where it hurts on such a busy shopping weekend.

As you will notice, we have unfortunately seen a previously celebrated business revert to its old form. Wal-Mart, which was supposed to be back to celebrating Christmas again this year, has gone back to its seculofascist ways, as old Teddy was in Wal-Mart this week and not one employee wished me a Merry Christmas!. No big deal, though, because Teddy's Troopers will make them feel it this weekend!

Dear readers, the businesses/services/events/publications you should boycott this weekend are:

Target
ABC
Acadian Ambulance
Acuvue Contacts
Albert's Sand-Blasting
Albertson's
Apocalypto (movie)
Arby's

Dear Teddy's Troopers, if anyone associated with any of these businesses, groups, or films does wish you a Merry Christmas or decorates for Christmas, please let old Teddy know, and I'll scratch them off of the list. But Target will absolutely not come off of the list - I, Theodore Trumblebunks, I, Esq., will take down these commie seculofascists if it's the last thing I do!

Dear readers, thank you for loving America!

-Theodore Trumblebunks, I, Esq.

Hey, Ted,

Add Cox Communications to the list. They were the ones who aired that "Christmas Song" commercial by the choir substituting "Merry Christmas" with "Happy Holidays" back in 2003.

Luckily, the local TV stations here have been half and half. Sometimes they say "Happy Holidays," and when I think they are PC, they'll air another station ID saying "Merry Christmas." Channel 2 airs station IDs with babies sitting on Santa Claus, which is very cute.

Dear Teddy,

Well I think you've done it. You've cured me. You've restored my faith in America. I've been away from the blogoshpere for a few weeks so I've only just finished catching up on all your recent posts, and I must say it was very enjoyable reading. I even followed you over to the blog of one of the knee-jerk-reaction-prone, bleeding heart liberals who had been attacking you, and I took great delight in what I read there too. Seems you really put them in their place. I notice that they've quitened down a bit. Indeed one of them has even flip-flopped in their appraisal of you.

Anyway, just wanted to wish you and yours a safe and very merry Christmas! Or as they say here in Japan, "melli klissmasu!"

Ok, Ted,

I am not sure how familiar you are with Baton Rouge establishments, but being that the town is rather "cliqish" (not sure if spelled right), the PC-ness is probably much lower than by national standards.

I visited the planetarium to watch a show on the Christmas Star (which star the wisemen may have followed to find Jesus), and the film ended with a "Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays," so I guess that's ok, assuming you're saying "New Year" in lieu of Holidays. I also ate at a restaurant known as VooDoo BBQ, and even though the food is about a grade B in my book, they said Merry Christmas as they closed--of course, this is a local establishment, but they may have places in New Orleans, not sure.

Oh, in case you have been out and about today, here is a small Christmas gift for you, courtesy of the US Army and NATO.

More proof to contradict those liberal naysayers. Merry Christmas to you and your folks. Remember, Keep Christ in Christmas.

PS. What did Santa Claus say when he caught his wife fooling around???

Jack X,

Cox Communications will be added to the list. Those liberal media bastards can't escape the wrath of my boycott.

Jack X, a very Merry Christmas to you and yours as well!

And I don't know, what did Santa say?

Why, Ho, Ho, Ho, of course!!! What else would he say?

Merry Christmas to you. I'll check back with you after the break. While this may be un-Christmas-like, I did receive a substantial amount of gift cards to Best Buy, and I would hate for them to go to waste, so I may have to wear sunglasses while browsing on the Second Day of Christmas. Joyeux Noel, Feliz Navidad, and Happy Christmas, Ron. Maybe I'll get an invisible cloak this year!
