Thursdays with Theodore, Episode 5/31/07
Dear Readers,
Welcome to this week's episode of "Thursdays with Theodore!" Off to the mail bag...
Carla writes:
Dear Mr. Trumblebunks, I, Esq.,
What do you think about Justice Scalia's daughter getting sentenced to probation today?
~~~Carla
Carla, thanks for the question. It is true that, today, some liberal activist judge in Wheaton, Illinois - a noted liberal hotbed - sentenced Ms. Banaszewski to 18 months of probation. Both sides say it was fair, but I say that this is ridiculous. This is a travesty of justice. Some liberal activist judge just wanted to take a shot at Nino, a strict constructionist and defender of the Constitution. By going after his family, they think they can take Nino down.
I don't mean to speak for him, but I'm sure Nino would say: "Bring it on!"
Dear readers, and Justice Scalia, thank you for loving America!
